At VCA Sacramento Veterinary Referral Center, we have helped pets live longer, healthier and happier lives through the highest quality radiology, surgery and internal medicine services, as well as emergency care since 2007.
Located in Sacramento and serving Northern California, our outstanding support staff are trained to the highest standards to help ensure that all our patients receive the best in healing care.
Since 2007, VCA Sacramento Veterinary Referral Center has been dedicated to helping pets live longer, healthier lives through advanced specialty and emergency care. Our hospital brings together a team of board-certified experts in neurology, cardiology, medical and radiation oncology, radiology, anesthesiology, critical care, surgery, and internal medicine.
Serving Sacramento and the greater Northern California region, we’re proud to offer compassionate, collaborative care supported by a highly trained staff committed to excellence at every level.
The American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) sets the standard for quality veterinary care for companion animals. As an accredited hospital, we voluntarily uphold the Association's high standards in 18 different areas and are routinely evaluated on over 900 different standards of veterinary care. Not all animal hospitals are accredited, and we are proud to be amongst only 12-15% of veterinary hospitals that hold this honor.
The Feline Veterinary Medical Association (FelineVMA), formerly the American Association of Feline Practitioners, represents veterinary professionals who are passionate about feline care. The association supports its members in advancing the health and welfare of cats. Recognized as a leader in feline medicine, FelineVMA helps practices create cat-friendly environments that reduce stress during veterinary visits.
VCA’s goal is to help treat your pet’s cancer, giving you and your pet more quality time together.
At VCA Pet CancerCare Centers, our oncology teams design individualized treatment plans for each pet patient using the most advanced and effective treatments available—much like those used in human medicine. Today’s cancer treatments have fewer side effects, so most pets remain comfortable and happy throughout treatment.
